Yes, it’s that time of the week again! But wait, we are not here to crib about Monday blues, but to make your Mondays totally awesome. Well begun is half done, remember? So why not start your week on a great note and carry on the positive momentum throughout the week.

Celebrate the start

Generally, all new beginnings are celebrated in some way or the other. Whether it’s a new job, house or even a gadget, we always start anything new with happiness and excitement.  Then why not Mondays? It’s the first day of the week, a start that takes you through the week, so why not be happy about it? Add a bit of joy and excitement to your Monday mood and you will see a difference. Feel happy about going back to work, feel excited to meet your colleagues again. Feel excited to do something new. Change the way you perceive Monday, and you WILL see the difference.

Successful people love Mondays

The bad reputation that Monday has, is primarily because people have been conditioned to think that Mondays are bad. It is time to break this stereotype and make the most of the first day at work!

Monday mornings are the most critical time of the workweek – they set the stage for the day and week ahead. Many researchers say that people who utilize Monday mornings appropriately are more likely to be successful professionally.  It is not about unanticipated work overflows that can happen on Monday, or any other day. It is about how you handle them in the best way! So stop blaming the poor Monday!

Don’t fall in the trap

Monday blues are like a Chinese finger trap; the more you struggle, the tighter it gets. Mostly, it is about your mindset. If you keep thinking that Mondays are bad and blue, you will miss all the good things that happen on a Monday. Relax, feel positive and start your week on a high note. Go with the flow and your Monday blues will turn into Monday wows!
